Carol is a 5th Dan level 3 coach, IJF Continental referee (Hon). Carol is a senior examiner and an IJF examiner. Carol began Judo over 40 years ago and has now retired as a competitor but continues to teach at Worcester Judo Club’s School2Dojo link club, at Hereford and Worcester Visual Impairment College.
Gareth is a 3rd Dan level 2 coach. Gareth is now the Director of Worcester Judo Club. Gareth began Judo as a child at Worcester Judo Club over 30 years ago. Gareth has competed for Worcester Judo Club on many occasions as both a junior and senior. Gareth has competed at both Area and National Level.
Phil is a 3rd Dan level 2 Coach and has his Area Referee Qualification. Phil is currently completing his Senior Examiner Qualification. Phil has been practicing Judo for over 40 years and shares his family’s passion for the sport. Phil has always played an active role within Worcester Judo Club and is currently Head Coach.
Mark is a 1st Dan level 2 Coach. Mark has been practicing Judo for 40 years,
Joe is a 1st Dan level 2 coach. Joe has been coaching for 8 years,
Seb is a first Kyu level 1 coach, and regularly takes the Junior sessions.
Jenny is a 1st Dan level 2 Coach and one of the founding members of Worcester Judo Club alongside her late husband, Phil Jones Senior.
Alex is our youngest coach, recently completing his level 1 BJA Coach award and holds his first Kyu.

Deb has worked in Child Protection Services for over 10 years and understands the importance of safeguarding all members of the club. Deb has secured the clubs recent "Clubmark" and is keen to provide an environment safe, welcoming and friendly for all members to enjoy the sport of Judo.
